Making Faces has a training division known as The California Institute of Permanent Cosmetics.  It is not uncommon to see either student technicians, apprentices, junior and other master technicians working along side Mary Ann.

When making your appointment please consider our many options at Making Faces. Because of her skill and experience Mary Ann often books appointments one to two months in advance. Mary Ann has personally trained other technicians to perform our services and has confidence in their abilities.

Each technician must complete a closely supervised apprenticeship under her strict standards.  Working side by side with Mary Ann enables these candidates to learn proper techniques and artistry.   They are only permitted to begin charging for their services when Mary Ann believes they are performing quality work.

Training consists of many hours of classroom instruction and hands on practice.  Only those  apprentices who excel in their ability to perform quality services are promoted to the Junior level.  After close evaluation and many procedures later, they earn the title of Master Technician.
